The daily work can include placing outbound calls to review past orders, placing orders, closing sales, customer service, registration, appointment setting, lead generation, and more!  We are a 100% work from home call center that operates 24/7/365. We are currently seeking an experienced call center sales agent to join our Lead Generation team.

Position type:
Outbound Lead Generation / Independent Contractor (1099)

Compensation:
$10.50 per hour

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM Pacific Time

Campaign Overview:
On this campaign, you will focus on making outbound, lead-based sales calls through our dialer to prospects who have expressed interest in furthering their education. You will guide each prospect through a series of questions to determine their wants and needs and then match them to potential opportunities.

Necessary Skills and Abilities: 
  • Previous call center sales experience required. Outbound calling experience preferred.
  • Excellent call control and the ability to quickly engage and communicate with prospects over the phone.
  • Determination, resilience and the ability to overcome objections is a must. This is a high rejection campaign.
  • Comfortable with heavy call volume and meeting/exceeding individual sales metrics.
  • Ability to exhibit patience, empathy, and respect for all callers.
  • Friendly, upbeat, clear speaking voice with the use of proper English.
  • Diligent about time management and ability to maintain the agreed upon schedule.  
  • Good computer knowledge with ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems as well as troubleshoot system and internet connectivity issues.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications and email communication is a must.
  • Ability to maintain a quiet and professional work space free from outside noise and disturbance.

Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Minimum one-year verifiable experience in a call center with sales or customer retention is required. Outbound calling experience is preferred. (NOTE: This position is not Customer Service or Support.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred.
  • Must pass a Felony Background Check. Cost is covered by ViaSource Solutions, Inc.

Hardware Requirements:
Please be prepared to visually verify all equipment during the certification/interview process.
  • Desktop PC or Laptop. Sorry, no Macs.
  • Operating System of either Windows 7, 8 or 10
  • Processor Speed of 1.80GHz or higher
  • Minimum 3.0GB of Available RAM
  • USB ONLY Headset. No wireless, Bluetooth, prongs, adapters or earphones accepted.
  • Minimum 17” screen or monitor. Dual monitors, tablets or smartphones are not permitted.
  • Hardwired, Ethernet connection. (We do not accept Clear Wireless, Hughes Net or any Wireless, Satellite or Hotspot connections.)
  • Minimum ISP download speed of 5mbps.
  • Must maintain active virus protection on your computer at all times.
  • Laptop users must have and use an external mouse.

Additional Information:
After successfully passing the interview/verification process, you will be invited to attend training. All of our campaigns include 2-4 days of paid training, depending on the specific campaign.
