Our call center work is done 100% from the comfort of your home and accepts calls 24/7 all 365 days of the year. Shifts are determined by call volume and vary by class; all schedules include at least one shift during the weekend, and for those seeking weekends only, we offer Friday through Monday shifts as well as weekends only! If you successfully pass the interview/verification process, you will be invited to attend a four-day paid training session that demands your full attention. You must participate fully, complete daily homework and pass quizzes daily to graduate to the following day of training and ultimately to the phones.

Position type:
Inbound Sales / Independent Contractor (1099)

Compensation:
$9.50 per hour for time logged in and ready to take a call.
We offer shift differential pay of $1.00 per hour ($10.50) for contractors who work a shift on both Saturday and Sunday OR work overnights after 9 PM Pacific. Pay is direct deposited weekly each Tuesday. (Please note, it does take two full weeks to get into the pay cycle)

Campaign Overview:

Contractors will work a combination of inbound and outbound calls from Senior Citizens. You will be responsible for leading the caller through an eligibility questionnaire and discussing products the caller has expressed interest in as well as other products that are found to benefit the caller.

Necessary Skills:
 
  • Comfortable with heavy call volume and meeting/exceeding individual sales metrics.
  • Exercise patience, empathy, and respect for all callers.
  • Friendly, upbeat, clear speaking voice with the use of proper English.  
  • Technical literacy (good knowledge of computer usage, Windows applications, and email. Must be able to quickly trouble shoot system and internet connectivity in a prompt fashion.)
  • Weekend availability.
  • Available to work a minimum of 15-30 hours per week including one set shift each weekend
  • Diligent about time management and ability to maintain the agreed upon schedule.  


Prerequisites:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent / some college is preferred.
  • Minimum one-year verifiable experience in a call center with sales or customer retention. (NOTE: This position is not Customer Service, and resumes are verified.)
  • All contractors are subject to a Felony Background check - Cost is covered by ViaSource Solutions, Inc.

  •  Must maintain active virus protection on your computer at all times.
  •  USB ONLY Headset - No wireless, Bluetooth, prongs, adapters or telephone's  
     Laptop users must have and use an external mouse.
  •  Must be hardwired at all times. To do this you will use an Ethernet cord connected  directly to your High-Speed, DSL or Cable modem and computer. (We do not accept Clear Wireless, Hughes Net or any Wireless, Satellite or Hotspot connections)
  • Minimum ISP download speed of 5mbps
  • Quiet and professional work space away from outside noise and disturbance during work and training hours.
Software Requirements:
 
Please download the following free software from the official site before beginning the interview process:
 
  • Google Chrome - This is the ONLY browser supported while training and working.
  • Screencast-o-matic.com - Free software that has been verified safe and is used to conduct your verification/interview so that you DO NOT need a webcam. We will also use this for training and quizzes. Once installed you can record your screen and submit short videos that are in the correct format for our system without the use of a webcam. We use this to visually verify your computer skills, specifications, internet speed, and overall computer competency.
